Rathmore/Gneeveguilla Community Games Athletics.

RATHMORE GNEEVEGUILLA COMMUNITY GAMES ATHLETICS EVENING

 

DATE:  MONDAY 25TH MAY 

Registration Time: 6.30pm SHARP!

Track and field events to commence straight after registration

Venue : Gneeveguilla GAA Grounds.

Fee: €3 Per Child.

Age Groups for Girls and Boys.

Under 8,10,12,14,16.

Ball Throw / Long Puck /Shot Put/High Jump/Long Jump/Discus -check age categories for these field events on links below


Tiny Tots Race.

Mothers Race.

Father's Race.

 

First 2 children who finish from each event will qualify to represent our area at the Kerry County Athletics Finals to be held on 20th and 21st June at An Riocht Track Castleisland.

Competitors MUST Reside in the Rathmore Gneeveguilla area and reside in County Kerry.

Fire Prevention 🔥

We would like to thank the staff of Killarney Fire Station for paying a visit to our school today.


Pupils learnt invaluable lessons about fire prevention in the home.




For homework tonight, all pupils will learn their eircode just in case it would ever be needed in the event of an emergency.

Credit Union Football Competition

Congratulations to our school football team on a brave and persistent performance this morning in The 2 Teacher School Credit Union Football Competition. Shrone N.S. are through to the semi finals which will take place later this month!

First Holy Communion Day

Today we would like to say a huge well done and congratulations to our amazing second class pupils who made their First Holy Communion on Saturday in Shrone Church.


First Holy Communion is such an important milestone in the children’s faith journey, as they receive the sacrament of the Eucharist for the very first time. It was a beautiful and special occasion filled with faith, joy and celebration.


We would also like to thank Fr. Pat for guiding the children on their faith journey and for celebrating such a beautiful Mass.


Thank you to our altar server.. Emma, our wonderful school choir and Sheilann for the beautiful music throughout the ceremony. 🎶


We hope that all of our pupils and their families enjoyed celebrating this very Special Day.
