Green Thumbs!

Today at lunch time,  some of us went gardening!  We picked all the weeds out of the potato patch. We found some big juicy worms wriggling in the soil so we rehomed them to the wormery!

Congratulations Second Class

Well done to everybody at the Communion Mass this morning.  Second class received their First Holy Communion this morning surrounded by friends and family.

Painting in the Sun

Summer officially started today. Pupils from Junior Infants to 2nd class enjoyed painting their buckets and spades in the sun!

Shrone Football Team

Shrone Football Team in Gneeveguilla on Thursday for the Rathmore Credit Union Football League.

Shrone have qualified for the semi-final, taking place next Thursday.

The Circle

The Senior Room have been learning all about "The Circle". We can now label all the parts of a circle and we are experts at drawing perfect circles using a compass.  We even used string,  chalk and bamboo and could draw really big circles outside!
