Happy Halloween.

The staff and pupils of Shrone N.S. would like to wish everyone a Happy Halloween. 

Our thanks to the parents who provided us with healthy treats for our party. 

Thanks to you the parents, the pupils really got into the spirit of Halloween and they looked amazing. 

Football Semi-Final.

On Friday 19th October we played Cloghane N.S. in Spa Gaa field. 

They were a very strong team and we wish them the best of luck in the County Final. 

 

Maths Week.

All the pupils in Shrone participated in 

Maths week 2018.  

We explored the concept of big, bigger, biggest and small, smaller, smallest. 



We found lots of examples of Maths in our environment. 

We plotted our findings in graphs.

Shrone N.S. are through to the next round of the Cumann na mBunscol 2 teacher county championship. 

Thanks to Rathmore G.A.A for giving us the use of the pitch and thanks to Tony and Séamus for setting it all up. 

To our opponents Bonane we are grateful for the experience of such a challenging match.

The final score was 4.11- 3.05 to Shrone.

 

The extended panel played a very skilful challenge game against Bonane and the final score 5.01-5.06 to Bonane.  

Cumann na mBunscol

Shrone N.S. were thrilled to win the Cumann na mBunscol 2 teacher East Kerry blitz in Barradubh on Tuesday 2nd October. 

We would like to thank Glenflesk, Meentogues and Raheen for providing us with close,hard,skilful and exciting games. There were some fantastic individual displays of football from all schools. 

We would like to thank Mr.Coakley who did a great job in coaching the team.
