Rathmore 4K

Congratulations to Carina, Riain and Sarah who completed the 4K Rathmore to Rathmore Road Race on Saturday 9th March. All competitors received a medal and Riain received a plaque also for coming first in the u14 Boys category.  An enjoyable morning was had by all. Thanks to the Gneeveguilla Athletic  Club for organising it and providing refreshments afterwards.

World Book Day.

Today March 7th is World Book Day. The pupils in the Junior room brought in their favourite books. 

We read two of them “Foxes in the Snow and “Alfie Gets in First.”

Then the pupils did a book report on “Foxes in the Snow.” 

 

We would encourage all pupils to use their book token during the month of March.

During Lent we are asked to 

Pancake Tuesday

All the pupils in Shrone N.S. made pancakes today and they enjoyed a well deserved treat at lunch time. 

Wizard of Oz.

Congratulations to the pupils of Shrone N.S who took part in the “Wizard of Oz” over the weekend. 

It was a brilliant show and enjoyed by all.
