Pupils from the senior room held a fundraiser to support the Australian people in their efforts to contain the wildfires and help the injured animals, in particular the koalas which have lost huge areas of their natural habitat. The children donated left over chocolate bars from Christmas to open a shop in school. The idea was brought forward by Tommy and he was assisted by Jessica and Danielle in running the shop during small break. The event was well supported by parents, pupils and even the staff were seen to be buying up a supply of chocolate! The shop sold all its stock in record time and raised €114 today with extra donations expected. We would like to thank everyone who supported the event and a special congratulations to Tommy for organising the entire event. Well done all.
