Fairy Trail.

If you happen to be in Killarney( when Level 5 restrictions have been lifted) there is a new fairy trail to the right of the playground(opposite the Cathedral).
Our thanks to the teachers and students from Killarney Community College for creating such a beautiful trail.
Well done to all involved.

The Scarecrows.

As part of our Halloween celebrations every family made a scarecrow. It was a very enjoyable activity and the results were amazing.

Maths

The pupils in the senior room took part in a maths  trail. The maths trail took place on the school grounds. Various aspects of the maths curriculum were covered on the trail.

As part of Maths week pupils in 1st and 2nd class measured their Scarecrows. They estimated the height of their scarecrows. They discussed their heights and arranged them in order of size.
