Maths Week 2020.

Pupils in the Junior room explored the concept of numbers today. We discussed all the various places that we would find numbers. We found numbers in the strangest of places. Numbers were found in school, at home, in the shop, in the car, at the train station and in lots of other places.

Junior and Senior Infants explored the numbers 1-5. We counted the doors, windows, shamrocks and shoe laces on the painting of “The Old Woman who lived in a shoe”.

All in all we all have become very aware that we are surrounded by numbers and this evening at home we will all be on the look out for more numbers.
