Today we celebrated Lá Fhéile Bainne.

We watched an interesting webinar from Agri aware about the story of milk and we did some follow up activities based on milk.

We spoke about the importance of dairy products in our diets.

We all enjoyed various dairy products at lunchtime today.

Cumann na mBunscol.

Congratulations to the Shrone football team who won the East Kerry 2 teacher Cumann na mBunscol final on Wednesday 20th of September in Barradubh Community field. 

Our thanks to the pupils and coaches from Meentogues, Glenflesk and Raheen schools for making it a very sporting occasion. 

Denis Nagle Memorial Tournament

Congratulations to Daniel who was part of the u 11 Rathmore hurling team who won the Denis Nagle memorial cup on Saturday. 

Irish Nationals.

Congratulations to Kaitlin, Isabelle, Grace and Laura who took part in the Irish Nationals last weekend. 

Local Area Projects.

Local area project by 3rd-6th class. The children have learned a little about the history and geography of their local area but without doubt there are many more stories to be discovered about the local area. It would be lovely to share these projects with parents, neighbours and grandparents to see if there is more to be added.
