Trip to the fort

As part of the SESE curriculum 3rd -6th class visited the fort in Rathmore. They walked the old Butter road. They viewed Jack Donoghue’s dwelling and they then continued on to see the fort. Mr Coakley informed the pupils of the history attached to the area. Pupils are currently working on projects based on the trip.
