Maths Week. Day 2.

On day 2 we were learning all about 2D shapes. We were finding circles, squares, rectangles and triangles in our environment. 

 

On Tuesday night were looking for these shapes at home. 

Maths Week Day 1.

On Monday the pupils were learning all about time as part of Maths Week 2016. 

 

We learnt the days of the week and a song about the months of the year. 

 

We were learning about the four seasons.

The Tom Markham cup comes to Shrone N.S.

On Friday 22nd September both the staff and the pupils were delighted to welcome some of the victorious Kerry Minor team to Shrone N.S.

We chatted with them about their football careers.

Before they departed we all sampled some of Marianne Cronin's fabulous  buns.

Welcome Back

Welcome to our new Junior Infants. We hope ye have a wonderful year. 

Welcome also to our new pupil in Third class. 

Congratulations and well done to Aidan and Daniel who were part of the team that won the Dr Mangan Memorial Hurling Tournament. Well done boys.
