6th Class Graduation. πŸ‘¨πŸΌ‍πŸŽ“πŸ‘¨πŸΌ‍πŸŽ“

I suppose they thought the day would never come but here it is, we wave a fond farewell to Thomas and Cathal as they leave primary school and carry on their educational careers in Scoil Phobail Sliabh Luachra.
Our Graduation day began with a beautiful mass celebrated by Fr. Pat in Shrone Church with many parents grandparents and pupils in attendance and also taking part in the Mass. Thank you Fr. Pat.

Then it was the short trip to the school where a presentation was made to each of the boys as a momento of their time in Shrone school and we spoke of their contributions to the life of the school in their time here and their unique abilities and personalities.
A special attendance presentation was made to Cathal who has had full attendance in school for the last nine years, that is 1847 days out of 1847 days. Congratulations Cathal.

They say a party without a cake is just a meeting so it was time to roll out the cake and the staff, pupils and families sat back to enjoy our favourite part of Graduation, looking back over all the pictures from the boys time in school and messages of farewell from staff and members of the community. Thanks to everyone who contributed to make the day so special for the boys.

A lovely time was had by all and it was a fitting way to say goodbye and good luck to Thomas and Cathal. SlΓ‘n go fΓ³ill.
