To say that we are extremely proud of the achievements of our pupils in Scór na bPaístí over the Bank holiday weekend is an understatement….. what an achievement!

Rathmore GAA/LGFA are joint County Champions in Scór na bPáistí, sharing the title with our East Kerry GAA neighbours Kilcummin GAA.
Following a full day of competition in Glenbeigh GAA hall on Saturday 29th April the results are as follows:
Rince Foirne:
🥇Grace O Sullivan,Eabhla Murphy Roisin Mc Auliffe, Laura Cronin, Danielle Buckley and Kaitlin Cronin claimed 1st place in Rince Foirne
Recitation:
🥈Aoibhinn Creedon was placed 2nd in recitation
Solo Dancing:
🥇Grace O Sullivan was rewarded with 1st place in solo dancing.
Kilcummin GAA claimed 1st place in both solo music and set dancing, and 2nd place in novelty act.
This resulted in Rathmore GAA/LGFA and Kilcummin GAA being in joint 1st place and receiving the Siobhan Cotter Memorial Perpetual Shield for Best Overall Club.
Congratulations also to the Rathmore quiz teams who put in a very strong performance in ISK earlier that day.
Many thanks to all the people who were involved in preparing the children for this competition.
