Summer Holidays.

Sports Day.

On Tuesday 20th June we hosted our Sport/Fun day. The events were javelin throw, skittles, point kicking, skipping and basketball free throw.

Climbing "The Paps Mountains."

On Monday 19th June the senior room, past pupils and parents climbed the Paps mountains.  

We started at "The City" at 9.30 and we reached the summit of the western Pap before noon. The weather was fabulous and the scenery was amazing. We could see a lot of the  local are i.e. Glenflesk, Rathmore, Knocknagree, the Cathedral  in Killarney  Loughquitane and the Killarney lakes even as far as Inch beach and the Dingle peninsula. 
 

 

 

Our thanks to Mr. Coakley and James Doherty who were our guides. Also thanks to Carina for helping out on the day too. 

 
        

Thanks to Siobhan for providing much needed refreshments on the journey home.

Two Teacher Football Competition

Our thanks to Garda John Crowley who visited our school today and he gave us a very informative talk on the the importance of road safety.
