League Final.

Best of luck to the Senior Kerry football team who are competing in the League Final against Mayo on Sunday 31st March. Pupils in Shrone N.S. are showing  their support  by wearing their jerseys today. 

The Rathmore U12 boys team wil be playing at half time during the league final. Best wishes to Shrone pupils Aidan and Riain who will be on this team on Sunday.  It’s a lovely opportunity and we hope everyone has an enjoyable day. 

Boys and Girls Mini Sevens Football Competition.

Well done to the boys who took part in the Mini Sevens Football Competition on Thursday 28th March in Dr.Crokes Pitch. Thanks to our competitors who gave us some great matches. 

Well done also to Shrone N.S and Glenflesk N.S girls who teamed up in the Mini Sevens Football Competition and competed in Fossa earlier today. They met with some strong competition but they put in some very good performances. 

Indoor Games in Milltown.

Congratulations to Aine and Thomas who took part in the indoor games in Milltown on Sunday 23rd March. Both were medal winners in their categories. 

Workout Wednesday

Today the pupils in Shrone N.S. enjoyed the sunshine during their break times. They played hopscotch, skipping and football.

U8 Basketball Blitz.

The U8 Rathmore Ravens basketball teams had a basketball blitz on Sunday March 10th. All players enjoyed the blitz and they all received a medal and a treat. Thanks you to all the coaches for all their wonderful training and to the Gneeveguilla u8 basketballers who competed against them. 

Rathmore 4K

Congratulations to Carina, Riain and Sarah who completed the 4K Rathmore to Rathmore Road Race on Saturday 9th March. All competitors received a medal and Riain received a plaque also for coming first in the u14 Boys category.  An enjoyable morning was had by all. Thanks to the Gneeveguilla Athletic  Club for organising it and providing refreshments afterwards.

World Book Day.

Today March 7th is World Book Day. The pupils in the Junior room brought in their favourite books. 

We read two of them “Foxes in the Snow and “Alfie Gets in First.”

Then the pupils did a book report on “Foxes in the Snow.” 

 

We would encourage all pupils to use their book token during the month of March.
