The Senior Room are launching their second publication today -"ALPHABANDIT", a handy English tips book, by kids for kids.
The book is published as part of the Junior Entrepreneur Project.
It will really help students in 3rd- 6th class with their writing skills with suggestions like words to use instead of 'said' or 'then', a Proof Reading Checker and lists of regularly misspelled words.
The book content was chosen by the pupils and designed along the theme of bandits, prison and "crimes against English".
This is the second year that the Senior Room has been involved in JEP. Last year the pupils came up with a handy Maths Book idea and published a book called "Sea the Facts". They managed to sell 200 copies of the book and subsidised their school tour to Dublin. They also had €50 left over that they reinvested in their project this year.
